Skip count forward in 2s

This unit provides a variety of engaging tasks to reinforce skip counting forwards in 2s. Activity 1 requires students to complete a snakes and ladders game board by filling in the missing numbers. Three fill-the-gap number sequences follow. Students will love the forest picture provided in Activity two. For this task they need to skip count in twos to find all of the multiples of two hidden in the picture. Activity three has a number of sequence tasks with visual support to assist students' understanding and finally, in Activity four students cut out the caterpillar body pieces in each row and construct each caterpillar by skip counting in twos to find the correct order.
