Proof-reading for spelling errors

Packed in this e-unit are a set of five worksheets designed to assist students in understanding and using correct spelling. Students will read the original short story 'Spell Well' before working through each exercise. They will practice identifying spelling mistakes in an extract from the story, spelling a word by working out how it sounds, exploring words that are commonly spelt wrong, and lastly, choosing which of two words have been spelt correctly. The unit is designed to develop and put to practice vocabulary skills in a fun and engaging manner.
