Looking at adjectives

This unit consists of a short narrative text about a beetle and a bird as well as worksheets focused on adjectives. The first worksheet gives students a short description of adjectives before asking students to identify them within passages from the text. Worksheet 2 provides students with a tip for testing whether a word is an adjective or not before they complete an adjective table and a fill the gaps exercise. Adjective placement in a sentence is the subject of the third worksheet, while Worksheet 4 consists of a cut and paste labelling activity that shows how adjectives are used to tell nouns apart.
