Compound sentences

Packed in this e-unit are a set of five worksheets designed to assist students in understanding and using compound sentences. Students will read the original short story 'The More The Merrier' before working through each exercise. They will practice spotting a compound sentence, using comma's to join multiple ideas into a single sentence, and lastly, writing their own compound sentences. The unit is designed to develop and put to practice sentence building skills in a fun and engaging manner.
