Looking at conjunctions

This unit consists of a short narrative text about a girl looking for something to eat for breakfast, as well as worksheets focused on conjunctions. The first worksheet gives students a short description of conjunctions before asking students to identify them within passages from the text. Worksheet 2 encourages students to use conjunctions other than 'and' in their work while Worksheet 3 focuses on choosing the best conjunction for the meaning you want to convey. The final worksheet in this unit is a fill-the-gaps exercise to encourage joining ideas together.
