Looking at adverbs

This unit consists of a short narrative text about a boy who is sneaking out to see his presents on Christmas morning, as well as worksheets focused on adverbs. The first worksheet gives students a short description of adverbs before asking students to identify them within passages from the text. Worksheet 2 shows how adverbs can be made by adding -ly to adjectives while Worksheet 3 focuses on opposite adverb pairs. The final worksheet in this unit illustrates how adverbs tell us more about what happens.
