Multiply using place value
As a multiplication strategy
In this unit, students revise solving multiplication problems by using place value. For example, to solve the equation 29 x 8, students can work out (20 x 8) + (9 x 8). With more than 40 questions, students have plenty of opportunity to practise this strategy. Room has been left on each page for students to show their working.
