Add multiples of 100 up to 1 000

The activities in this unit are carefully scaffolded to reinforce multiples of 100 up to 1 000. In Activity 1, students are given triangles that show two addends. They must provide the third addend to make the triangle total 1 000. In the next activity, students must provide two possible addends to complete the triangles. The final activity requires students to colour the three CDs, (from a selection of five), that total 1 000 and then write the corresponding equation.
