Doubling and halving

Students learn to double or halve numbers to work out an answer to the problems in this unit. In the first activity students are asked to double the price tag to work out how much money the twins spent. The second activity continues to focus on the twins, but this time students must work our how much each twin spent based on a price tag. The simple graphics in these activities help students to understand the doubling/halving concept.
