Sustainable living at home

This delightful lesson plan contains a learning outcome, success criteria, pre-lesson preparation, resources, learning sequences and a conclusion. Students will gain an understanding of how living sustainably affects them at home by the end of the lesson. The teacher will explore with the class areas where they could make improvements, before bringing a speaker on biodegradable products to the classroom. The teacher should encourage students to write questions for the visitor. The final task of the lesson requires students to write a 'sustainable living checklist', then produce a YouTube video in groups! The lesson concludes with time for the student to reflect on their learning in their learning log, and the student is encouraged to talk about sustainable living at home as a homework discussion.
