This appealing lesson plan contains a learning outcome, success criteria, pre-lesson preparation, resources, learning sequences and a conclusion. Throughout the lesson students will gain an understanding of how living sustainably can affect them in their community. After watching and discussing a video on YouTube as an introduction to the lesson, the teacher gives the students an article to read and answer the relevant questions. The teacher helps the class arrange a visit or response from an environmental group. From this the students will set out on a project revolved around helping the community clean up. The lesson concludes with time for the student to fill out their learning logs and reflect on the lesson.
