What about water?
This delightful lesson plan contains a learning outcome, success criteria, pre-lesson preparation, resources, learning sequences and a conclusion. Students will gain awareness about how important water is by the end of the lesson. The lesson will begin with a brainstorm session about the uses for water, followed by an engaging activity identifying the ways we get access to water and the amount of water we use. The teacher will explain New Zealand's usage in comparison to other countries before a final exercise is carried out by the students. The lesson concludes with time for students to fill out a learning log, and a homework activity is given for the student to complete at home.
