Focus on vocabulary in texts

This unit contains flexible templates that can be adapted for use with any texts. The first worksheet focuses on new words that appeared in a recently read text and askes students to use each new word in a sentence. The second template requires students to find words in a book or story that sound the same as another word but have a different meaning. The final worksheet focuses on identifying word families from a story or book and completing word family houses.
