Thinking beyond the text

Packed in this e-unit are five fun engaging worksheets to develop the manner in which students respond to a story. Students will work through each activity illustrating what they think is the funniest part of a story, rewriting the ending of a story they have read, recreating the main character of a story and creating a mind map to plot ideas of a sequel to a story! A self-assessment sheet is also provided, giving students an opportunity to reflect on them self as a reader.
