Solve a problem by choosing the best strategy

Throughout this unit students will work through a series of page-long addition and subtraction worksheets using one of four strategies: Equal Adjustments, Compensation, Reversing or Algorithms. The student is given the opportunity to choose what they believe is the appropriate method for each equation. Students are then given the opportunity to write their own equations for a partner to solve. The partner will need to choose which of the four strategies is best for each equation too!
