Identify place value of numbers up to 10 000

Students will practice writing a figure in both the number and number name format throughout this unit. They will reinforce their ability to recognise and write out numbers to the value of 10 000 by filling in the missing numbers on a number line, and by circling the required place value - whether it be tens, hundreds or thousands. They will also need to identify how many tens are in a number up to the value of 10 000.
