Count back to solve subtraction equations (Pt 2)
Throughout this unit students will practice counting back in tens and ones to solve a series of subtraction equations, both with and without the assistance of a number line. Students will then use this technique to solve a word problem, calculating how many chocolates Rob and his friends have eaten, and how many sausages are left to sell at the sausage sizzle.
