This unit consists of three differentiated versions of the same text plus a page of related activities. The text is a good example of narrative writing as it reflects typical narrative structure and includes language devices such repetition and active nouns. The activity page includes warm up questions about a farmer's daily life, comprehension and vocabulary questions based on the text and evaluative questions to prompt higher order thinking skills.
