Recognise ones and tens, and more or less than a number
Place value to 100
The first tasks on both worksheets in this unit require students to recognise and write how many tens and ones are in each of the given number houses. In the second activity students circle the digit that is in the ones column for each of the given numbers or write the numeral represented by the two place value columns e.g. 1 ten, 3 ones = 13. The final exercise on both worksheets has students filling in the number on each ladder that is 1 more, 10 more, 1 less or 10 less than the number before it.
