Throughout her distinguished career, she has shown an enduring commitment to fostering excellence in teaching and learning through the design and delivery of innovative, engaging programmes, particularly in the field of mathematics. Jude brings a wealth of professional expertise and creative insight to the Essential Resources writing team for mathematics.

Suzi de Gouveia is an accomplished educator with over 40 years of teaching experience. After spending 18.5 years as principal of St Teresa’s School in Christchurch, New Zealand, she had a brief retirement before realising this lifestyle wasn’t for her. Missing the vibrant energy and daily action of the classroom, she has returned to teaching part-time. Throughout her career, Suzi has developed a wealth of innovative ideas and resources dedicated to enhancing students’ learning. She continues to bring that same passion and expertise to the school environment today.
