Multiples of two

Skip counting

The range of tasks in this unit ensure students receive plenty of practice recognising multiples of 2. The first task requires students to circle the multiples of two in each box of numbers before writing the circeld numbers in order from smallest to biggest. Task 2 reinforces number order by asking students to cut out the given numbers and order them from biggest to smallest. The following two activities require students to skip count in twos, either by filling in the gaps in each row of numbers or by counting the pairs of shows as quickly as they can. The next two pages of tasks builds on from the previous two by having students skip count forward or backawqards to fill gaps, complete number lines or count objects. Cutting out given numbers and sticking them down in order from biggest to smallest and vice versa, completes this unit.
