Numbers that come before, after or between a number to 10

The four tasks in this unit assist your students in learning to recognise the number that comes before, after and between numbers to 10. Activity 1 features four boxes that each contain a star and four numbers. For each box, students need to colour the number that comes after the number in the star blue and the number that comes before, red. Completing the given number patterns, then colouring in before, after or between numbers as instructed is the focus of Task 2. In the third task students simply write the number that comes before or after the given numbers, while the final task is a dot-to-dot activity.
