Recognising and writing numbers

The number of tasks in this unit ensure students receive plenty of reinforcement recognising and writing numerals and number names to 10. Two tasks require students to cut out number names, numerals and either tens frames or finger patterns and match them up. A third task askes students to write the numeral that matches the finger pattern and circle the number name hidden in each letter jumble. Task 4 provides numeral writing practice, while in the final activity stduents complete the table by filling in the missing number names, numerals and tens frames.
