Room 4 is going to travel by plane to a sports event. Each student has packed their bags and brought them to school to check the weight. Each person is allowed to take 20kg of luggage. Students need to calculate how much each student's luggage is under or over the weight that is allowed. If anyone's luggage is overweight, the student must pay $1 for each 1000g over 20kg. The first two pages in this unit tackle this context. The final task looks at lengths of carpet.
