Solve percentage problems

In this unit students learn to understand and calculate percentage increases and decreases. In the first task Fi and Max own a sports shop specialising in ski and snowboard gear. Given their mark up, your students need to work out how much they sell each item for. George and Marta's surf shop is having a pre-Christmas sale in Task 2. Given the percentage discount per item, students need to calculate the discount as a dollar amount as well as the final selling price. Answers are provided.
