Use estimation to check multiplication and division problems

In the first task in this unit Keith has solved some multiplication problems. Your students need to check his answers using estimation and mark on the target whether he has he hit the bull's eye, or has he missed the mark and then justify their decision. A couple of other tasks require students choose an estimate answer from a selection and show their reason (s) for this choice. Other activities ask students to estimate decimal multiplication and division problems showing the numbers they have used when estimating.
